PASSES AND PROMOS
We’ve got a special deal for returning campers! If you bought a festival pass in 2024, you can snag your Pass for our cheapest deal yet. From now through the end of November, returning campers can score passes for only $199.
Want to skip the line entirely for every single festival screening and event? You’ll want our FINAL GIRL PASS, priced demonically at $666 a pop. We are selling an extremely limited number of these so buy now and don’t miss your chance to slow zombie walk through the fest like a VIP to all your first-choice showtimes.
Our CAMPER PASS (our standard festival pass) will grant its wearers access to all screenings (including opening, closing, and centerpiece) as well as all events, panels, podcasts, parties, and live shows, and advance registration options for immersive programming. For the cheapest pass option, take advantage of our EARLYBIRD SLASHER PROMO — Camper Passes are available for $275 until January 31st, 2025. After that, Camper Passes will sell for $350.
Immersive Theater Experiences will once again be exclusively individually ticketed events, requiring a separate purchase, although passholders will have early access to time slots. Experiences will be announced in early spring and prices for each may vary depending on the length and scope of each show.

ONLINE RESERVATIONS FOR PASSHOLDERS
We’ve heard your feedback, and ….
In 2025, we are debuting online reservations for passholders! Final Girls will be able to reserve a space for any screening they want to attend, while Campers can reserve up to two screenings per day (for a total of eight). What does that mean?
A Passholder reservation means you are guaranteed to get into a screening, as long as you arrive at the theater no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
But just because you aren’t able to RSVP to a screening, doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to get in. We will still have a walk-up entry line for Campers, just as before. We will be holding back a certain number of seats for Camper walk-ups, so even if you aren’t able to RSVP for a specific screening, you’ll still be able to get in via the walk up pass line.
The option to RSVP is for those screenings you just can’t miss and want to make sure you DEFINITELY can get in.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETING GUARANTEED
As in years past, we will be selling a very limited amount of individual tickets to screenings and events. What’s different this year is that your purchased ticket will now guarantee entry to your screening/event, as long as you arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. After the 15-minute mark, we’ll start filling in seats with our walk-up Passholder line…so just as long as you’re on time, you can rest assured you’ll be able to get in.
SCREENING SOLD OUT AND DON’T HAVE A PASS? TRY THE RUSH LINE!
If no individual tickets are available for a screening, don’t be discouraged! You can try purchasing tickets via the Rush Line. Once pass and ticket holders are seated for a screening, we will start selling tickets to the Rush Line to fill any empty seats. With our new hybrid pass reservation system, we will be selling less individual tickets, but the Rush Line can be a great opportunity to snag a seat.

We are so overwhelmed by your enthusiasm, and how supportive you are of all of our events. But we know that it’s sometimes led to frustrating shut-outs at very popular screenings. So in 2025, we’re adding more screening slots, and more screens…which means more chances for you to discover spine-tingling frights! While there will likely still be times when theaters fill up, there will be even more opportunities for you to catch your favs and discover new horrors.
THEATERS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
We are proud to have our longtime friends and host venue The Prytania Theatres return to the Overlook family and expand their role this year as producing partners of the festival this year.
They’ll be working closely with the Overlook staff on theater operations, tech and events. This year, the festival will see improvements in line management.
PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
This year Overlook will expand our local BONUS DAY with two days of additional screenings of select films on Monday, April 7th and Tuesday, April 8th for those working through the weekend and unable to enjoy the festival offerings until then. Only screenings on Monday, April 7 will be open to passholders.
Our box office, most film screenings, panels, and live shows will be held at our Festival Headquarters, the Prytania Theatres At Canal Place at the edge of the French Quarter. Additional screenings will take place at the Historic Prytania Theatre Uptown, a 100 + year-old institution with the distinction of being the longest continually operated theater in the south.
