In lieu of a physical festival in 2020, the Overlook Film Festival partnered with the Boston Undeground Film Festival, the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival, the North Bend Film Festival and Popcorn Frights to create Nightstream, an online genre film festival. Screen Test is a new game show from actor and comedian Paul Scheer and film critic Amy Nicholson, hosts of the movie podcast Unspooled. On Screen Test, each contestant starts at the bottom of the ladder in Hollywood, trying to work their way up to “movie mogul.” They’ll be tested not on their knowledge of movie trivia, but on their creativity and improvisational skills, with a gauntlet of singing, acting, and fast-pitch challenges. Do you have what it takes to pass the Screen Test? This special NIGHTSTREAM edition will feature contestants Jocelyn DeBoer, Brea Grant and Graham Skipper.
